It’s no wonder this client didn’t want to use real wood for their deck. Owing to a busy lifestyle, they chose TREX which emulates the true wooden look they wanted but with little or no maintenance for years to come.
Karndean Looselay was chosen for this project. A wood look was a natural choice for the space, as it provided natural warmth and texture. The practicality of Looselay together with its durability, hygienic attributes and acoustic properties made it a clear choice for this client.
For this project, Korlok Select was chosen. Speed of installation due to Korlok Selects 5G technology were important since minimum down time was needed for business continuity. Also having a floor that could withstand the daily grind was essential for minimum maintenance.
Karndean Looselay was chosen mainly for its asthetics. Available with a realistic woodgrain look in a modern grey hue, it fit perfectly with the design look the client was aiming to achieve.
We looked at a handful of similar products, but LVT was able to achieve the look we wanted at the lowest cost long term. No cracking or popping of tiles and no grout lines, giving the installation a nice and clean look.
